The Tokyo Motor Show keeps proving itself to be a big player in the international auto show scene. Proof of that is found in the fact that every other year, more car manufacturers are debuting new products and concepts at the show, and not just the Japanese ones.



Of the Europeans, this year saw Volkswagen releasing both its Cross Coupe and Passat Alltrack concepts in the halls of Tokyo Big Sight. Audi joined in, too, with bringing some examples of its new A1 Sportback to Tokyo. Mercedes had its Concept A on hand, and BMW brought its i cars, as well as the ActiveHybrid5.
