Porsche Museum to Feature 911 Identity Exhibit

posted by on 31 January 2012 in Cultural and Events News

With the all-new 911 just hitting the first customers’ driveways, it’s no surprise that Porsche has chosen to highlight its most iconic model’s unique identity by honoring it with a special exhibit at the factory museum in Stuttgart. Opening today and running through the 20th of May, the “911 identity” exhibit looks back on all seven generations of the popular sports coupe.

In addition to road cars, the display also includes such motorsports legends as the 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Safari and the 911 GT3 Hybrid. The company has also dug deep into its archives to pull out rare documents of the 911′s development for public display.

More information is available on the Porsche Museum website.
