While we Americans have SEMA to look forward to every November, later in the month the German’s have Essen. Featuring the aftermarket industry, much like SEMA does, Essen takes it to the next level, and has earned itself the title of the largest show of its kind in the world.
This year, we saw a surprisingly subdued tuning style reign over the show floor. In fact, you might even call it OEM+. For a show that’s typically overrun with outlandish body kits and garish modifications, this year saw bolt-ons offered by the manufacturers themselves, and things like paintwork and wheels were used to enhance those lines.
