Fiat Coming to Your iPad

Fiat's effort to reach creative hipster-types has gone digital with today's announcement of the Fiat Source iPad app. The free application, which can be downloaded at Apple's App Store.

The plan is to create unique issues each quarter, with a unique theme for every issue that links directly to the culture and interests of Fiat 500 owners and enthusiasts. The premiere issue focuses on art and design, highlighting the works of numerous emerging artists.

It's not all artsy fluff though; there's a catalog as well. Yes, even if you don't own a 500 (or, heaven forbid, an older Fiat) you can still look like you're part of the club with some choice swag from the Fiat 500 collection.

Fiat's US brand manager Laura Soave knows how important it is for a premium small vehicle like the 500 to really bond with the people who embrace it. “The Fiat Source app is another example of how we are better connecting with our Fiat 500 owners and fans, responding to their needs and interests and growing our relationship with them.”
