Bugatti's Engineering Realized Even in Small Scale

When Spanish LEGO builder Sheepo decided to build a replica Veyron out of LEGO's Technic line of motorized plastic, he had to know he was taking one of the industry's most thoroughly engineered models. And, after watching the video below, he certainly did it no disservice. Made in "roughly 1/8th scale," Sheepo claims that the proportions are matched exactly to the original car.

Also true to the original are some of the motorizations the builder has included on the car. Check out the adjustable spoiler, which even tilts like the air brake on the Veyron, and the scale brakes at each wheel. Also, the model sports independent suspension, all-wheel drive, and craziest of all, a seven-speed sequential gearbox, with a reverse gear. We even like Sheepo's added feature of automatically retracting targa top.

Watch the video and see for yourself, it's quite a feat, certainly one to bear the resemblance of such a technological feat in full scale.
