Aston Martin is trying to build some hype for its brand and some camaraderie between its owners this year with a new tour announced today. Aston Martin's "On Tour" program is essentially a group road trip organized and lead by Aston Martin, with AM ownership being one of the requirements. The tour currently has three events scheduled.

-May 30 to June 5 - "Mountains of the Pyrenees" goes from Biarritz to Barcelona.

-September 12 to 17 - "The Alpine Adventure" goes from Lake Geneva to the Cote d'Azure

-October 11 to 16 - "The Magic of New England" goes from New York to Boston

Obviously, the European versions of the trips sound more thrilling than the drive through New England, which should at least be colorful. Maybe it's Aston Martin's way of saying that it doesn't trust its US clientele on wild roads, or perhaps the company is still working on another trip through the Rockies or across northern California.
