Friday Photo Gallery: 2010 Sonoma Historics

Being a bit smaller, more exclusive, and not wrapped up in a larger overall festival, the Sonoma Historic Races at Infineon Raceway sometimes live in the shadows of the more famous Monterey Historics to the south. But that doesn't mean this weekend of vintage racing, which took place in early June, is something that should be missed. This year there was a bunch of world-class metal from Bugatti, Porsche, and McLaren (is the F1 really already an historic car?) among others.

This year, Chris MacAllister from Indianapolis won the coveted "Phil Hill Trophy" for overall performance and presentation, having had an impressive showing with his 1971 McLaren M8F. His car was just one of 375 machines present, and magazine friend Casey Parkin was kind enough to shoot a gallery for us. Click the photos to the right to jump in to the photos.
