We'll have first drive reviews of both the 550i Gran Turismo and the X6 ActiveHybrid for you within the next week or so, but for now we are able to report official pricing for each. Let's start with the cheap (relatively) one, the 550i GT. It'll go on sale December 5, 2009, with a base price of $64,735, a price that includes destination and handling charges. That'll buy you a twin-turbo, 400-hp V8, an eight-speed transmission, and about as much room as four or five people could ever ask for. When the 535i GT is added early next year, expect the price to fall under $60,000, with xDrive also later available on both models at a premium. Here's a full list of packages and options:

Next up is the X6 ActiveHybrid, the world's fastest, most powerful hybrid vehicle. Makes sense, right? Anyway, the pleasure of owning that bragging point will cost $89,725 and again, that includes destination and handling. Aside from the twin-turbo V8 mated with a two-mode hybrid transmission and the batteries under the cargo floor, that price does actually get you a lot of standard equipment that's optional on the xDrive 50i model.
