MTM Announces Tuning Options for 2011 Audi RS5 Coupe
MTM doesn't leave many Audi models left to sit with no aftermarket tuning options, and the new RS5 obviously won't be the exception to that. Confirmation of that belief came this week when the tuning firm from outside Ingolstadt announced the first round of updates for the car. We got a nice set of pictures too, and the car has never looked so good.
For 1499 Euros (VAT included) MTM will flash the car's computer to eliminate the speed limiter, raising the car's top-out point to 188 mph. For another 2999 Euros, they'll bolt on a sport exhaust system with butterfly valves just like the stock system, only it will certainly scream louder with them open. The system is designed to fit up to the stock exhaust tips for a subtle look.
Other than a long list of wheel choices, that's actually all that's available so far. F-Cantronic adjustment for the car's stock adjustable suspension is in the works, but that system isn't quite finalized yet. And other than the exhaust, no other power upgrades have been announced. Hopefully, MTM will have the car making insane power by the time the RS5 arrives here in the US.
