MTM Announces 730-hp Audi RS6 Clubsport

Who takes a mid-size sedan with a twin-turbo V10 and decides it isn't quite speedy enough? Apparently, Motoren Technik Meyer does. Yes, the respected Audi tuner decided to take Audi's incredible RS6 sedan and make from it the ultimate four-passenger Audi. Meet the Clubsport, complete its flashy race livery.

Starting with the car's stock engine, a twin-turbo 5.0-liter V10 mated to a Tiptronic six-speed and all-wheel drive, MTM started cracking computer codes and shedding restrictive parts. That all includes an ECU upgrade, an air filter swap, and stainless steel exhaust with remote-activated valves to silence the car's psychotic roar. The result is 730 hp at 6360 rpm and 579 lb-ft of torque from 2750 rpm on up to 6280 rpm. Depending on the tires, MTM says that's enough power to let the RS6 hit 211 mph.

The Clubsport isn't just all about power, though. The package also includes a set of black 21-inch wheels in a traditional MTM design, individually-adjustable MTM springs, a carbon fiber diffuser, a carbon front lip spoiler, and of course that paint. Additionally, the Clubsport's interior is stripped and fitted with a roll cage, six-point harness, and a set of Recaro pole position racing seats. Pricing hasn't been announced, but it should be worth every Euro for anyone looking for an extra bit of insanity from his RS6.
