2011 Volvo S60 by Heico Sportiv Finally Made Official With Real Photos
We've seen the sketches and we've seen the teasers. Now we finally have a full gallery of how the Heico Sportiv modifications for the all-new S60 will look when they go on sale next month. And we must say, we're big fans.
The kit starts with a two-part polyurethane plastic front spoiler, which is designed to work with the stock front bumper cover. The pieces add just enough visual punch without going overboard. At the rear, a new diffuser made of the same PUR-R-RIM plastics is offered to match up with the very mean looking quad-exit Heico exhaust kit. The diffuser is offered with an available carbon fiber inlay, while the exhaust kit is available with different outlets that work with the original rear bumper.
Inside, the options for modification are pretty minimal. There's a stubby little shift knob available, and also a set of very attractive metal pedal covers.
A number of engine management reflashes are offered for both gas and diesel models, but the only one currently notable to the US market is the tune for the T6, which takes it to 330 hp and lowers the 0-62 mph time from 6.5 seconds down to 5.8. If we ever get the S60 2.0T as a base model here, you'll all be happy to hear that Heico has already urged an extra 47 hp out of that motor as well.
Heico says of this new S60 that it is "dynamic and sporty. The new Volvo S60 is not chivalrous, the new Volvo S60 is sexy. HEICO SPORTIV enhances the Volvo driving experience, adding additional seasoning in the form of meticulously composed ingredients." We just think it's pretty good looking.
