Bryan grew up repressed in a household that drove only domestic cars. A summer in England during high school was all it took to break free from those shackles. While he typically likes his cars compact and efficient, his latest acqisition is a V8-powered SUV.

Jamie wins the award for coolest high school job ever as a porter at the local Ferrari/Rolls/Maserati/Lotus dealer. We're not saying he wasn't good, but he was the last teenage porter they ever hired. While these days he prefers his four-wheeled machinery to be German, his choice of bikes and secret desires are all Italian.

In high school George begged his Buick-driving parents for an Alfa Romeo Spider. They said no to the Spider, but felt they met him halfway with a Scirocco. He's been in the European fold ever since, with German and Swedish cars dominating his garage. Oh, and about the garage - it's true he bought his current house specifically for the drive-in basement with 14-foot ceilings.

Stu hails from the once-great-car-building state of Michigan, so its no surprise he was driving a vintage Cadillac when he appeared on our doorstep. We've quickly reformed him though, and after a couple of E30 BMWs, he's taken it upon himself to move upward (well, kinda) into turbocharged Volvos.

He may be our youngest staffer, but having spent his formative years in England, he's no stranger to European cars. Admittedly, they were his parents cars, but that doesn't change the fact he absolutely fell in love with 'em. Especially the German stuff. Now that he's all done with college and has a "real" job, he's looking for something with four rings.

Myles's early years were spent riding in the back seats of Fiats and Benzes when everyone else was rolling in Gran Torinos. The first car he actually owned was a Westmoreland-built Rabbit, but he eventually moved into more exciting metal from Germany. He is currently keeping his eyes open for an older M car to break his wallet.
